School Counselor's Corner!

My name is Ms. Holt and I am the PROUD School Counselor at Mars Estates Elementary School! Thank you for stopping by to visit my School Counselor's Corner! I am currently in my 2nd year as a school counselor here at Mars Estates Elementary School. I work with all students in grades K – 5. I earned my masters degree in School Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland in 2018 and graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Towson State University in 2011. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and am currently working towards obtaining my Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am so very excited to be working here at MEES!

Below you will find links to BCPS social emotional supports & resources, as well as some community supports available for BCPS families.  Please feel free to reach out to me if I can be of assistance to your student or family.

Our school buildings are currently closed due to the impact of COVID-19.  During this time, I will have access to email and hours for virtual communication or phone communication. My virtual office hours will be Monday – Friday 8:30am – 9:30am and again from 1:00pm – 2:00pm.  Please contact me if you have any questions or if I can be of assistance. I will do my absolute best to return all emails within 24 hours during the work week,

You may also request a virtual check-in with me via Microsoft Forms. Your child must be logged in to access the form. They should use their BCPSone username and password to login: Here

I will then reach out to you via email or by phone to setup a time for me and your child to virtually meet via google meet.

Thank you and take care!
